Minh Duc Le joins ZooKeys as a subject editor

Another zoologist joins ZooKeys as a subject editor: Minh Duc Le, a reptile specialist from Vietnam.
Minh Duc Le has been working on biodiversity research and conservation for more than 20 years. His work focuses on biotic survey, taxonomy, and conservation genetics of various wildlife groups in Indochina. He is currently working on projects which characterize morphological and genetic diversity of reptiles, amphibians, and mammals in the region. He also pioneers the application of molecular tools in studying and surveying critically endangered species in Vietnam.
He is an invited member of the IUCN’s Tortoise and Freshwater Specialist Group, the Crocodile Specialist Group, and the Large-antlered Muntjac Working Group of the Deer Specialist Group.
He is also an associate professor at the University of Science, Vietnam National University, Hanoi, where he teaches various courses on biodiversity, conservation biology, protected area management, and climate change. He also leads a research group focusing on environmental genomics analysis and conservation.
Minh is thrilled to join ZooKeys as a subject editor for Squamata. He strongly believes that high-quality publications are key for enhancing our understanding of the natural world and supporting our efforts to sustain global ecosystems.
