Filippo Di Giovanni has joined ZooKyes as a Subject Editor for parasitoid wasps (Ichneumonoidea).

He is an evolutionary biologist and a research scientist at the University of Siena, Italy, where he investigates the diversity and ecology of the so-called Darwin wasps (Hymenoptera, Ichneumonidae). His interests range from the systematics and taxonomy of parasitoids, to biological control and study of insect communities in anthropized contexts.

"I am honored to have joined the ZooKeys team. I will do my best to ensure high quality papers concerning the diversity of insects, such as parasitoids, which are so important yet still so little known," he says.
