Call for abstracts opens for the 11th International Congress of Dipterology
The call for abstracts for the 11th International Congress of Dipterology (ICD XI) opens on 1 October 2026, and will close on 31 March 2027. Researchers and scientists from around the world are invited to submit their work for presentation at the Congress, which will take place from 11 to 16 July 2027 at the Hotel Westin in Zagreb, Croatia.
The International Congress of Dipterology is the leading global gathering for the study of true flies, one of the most diverse and ecologically significant insect orders. Held under the auspices of the Council for International Congresses of Dipterology, the event brings together specialists in taxonomy, systematics, ecology, evolution, medical and veterinary entomology, and applied research. The 2027 Congress is being organised by the ICDXI Organising Committee and the Croatian Association of Freshwater Ecologists (CAFE).
Prospective presenters are asked to read the abstract submission instructions carefully before submitting. Full guidance is available on the Congress website.
Early registration remains open until 1 November 2026, after which regular registration fees will apply. Those who wish to stay informed about the Congress may sign up for the newsletter via the website.
