Studies on the fish biodiversity of Western Pacific Ocean and adjacent waters
ogcoho@gmail.com
As the world's primary epicenter for marine biodiversity, the Western Pacific boasts an extraordinarily rich fish fauna. Despite intensive studies over recent decades, many species in this region remain scientifically unnamed. This special issue is dedicated to advancing our understanding of Western Pacific fish diversity. We have invited prominent scientists from Japan, Taiwan, the USA, Vietnam, and Australia to co-edit and share their expertise. With an expected lineup of at least 15 scientific papers, the volume will focus on describing new fish species and addressing critical taxonomic uncertainties. We warmly welcome contributions from fellow researchers dedicated to studying this unique biogeographic region.
