A Festschrift Recognizing Thomas J. Henry for a Lifetime of Contributions to Heteropteran Systematics
Edited by Alfred G. Wheeler
This special issue of ZooKeys honors the scientific accomplishments of Thomas J. Henry, a leading specialist on true bugs (Hemiptera: Heteroptera). The Festschrift begins with an overview of Dr Henry’s career as a heteropterist, which includes a list of his publications. His son, daughter, and wife reflect on their life with Tom, and a miridologist looks appreciatively at Tom Henry as a friend and mentor who influenced her career. Following the three introductory articles are 24 research papers contributed by Tom’s colleagues from 16 countries. They name two new genera and 22 new species of true bugs for him in expressing their respect for his contributions and productivity.
