An adventive Palaearctic species, Micromus variegatus (Fabricius) (Neuroptera, Hemerobiidae), is reported as new to Québec, eastern Canada. It was recorded for the first time from North America in 1988, from Galiano Island, of the coast of southwestern British Columbia. The present records confirm the occurrence of this species in eastern Canada, which constitutes the second known introduction of M. variegatus into North America.
