Phylogenetic relationships among the genera of Dorylinae based on Brady et al. 2014 and unpublished genomic data (Borowiec, in prep.). Taxa marked with asterisk (*) were classified in Cerapachys prior to this revision and those with double asterisk (**) were included in Sphinctomyrmex. Size of the triangles is proportional to estimated species diversity, i.e. include described and undescribed species. ‘New World army ants’ and ‘Eciton genus-group’ are equivalent and I use these names interchangeably.
