The green clades represent five species for which the species delimitation result is different based on morphology and the BI tree: S. commerson, S. guttatus, S. plurilineatus, S. regalis, and S. maculatus. Images of the genus Scomberomorus on the right from top to bottom are: S. sierra, S. concolor, S. brasiliensis, S. regalis, S. maculatus, S. semifasciatus, S. cavalla, S. niphonius, S. munroi, S. guttatus, S. plurilineatus, S. commerson, and S. queenslandicus.
