Paraeuchaeta exigua (Copepoda, Calanoida; female, MNA-12333) acquired with scanning electron microscopy (SEM). This is one of the most common species in the coastal area of Terra Nova Bay. It plays a key role in the neritic trophic chain and highly contributes to the total mesozooplanktic biomass.
