A genus in disguise. Revision of the genus Salcedia Fairmaire, 1899 with descriptions of nine new species (Coleoptera, Carabidae, Scaritinae, Salcediini)


	Salcedia unifoveata sp. nov., habitus, frontal view, cleaned specimen. The space between the suture and interneurs two, four, and six is naturally filled with mud.
