A new large tellinid species of the genus Pharaonella from the Ryukyu Archipelago, Japan (Mollusca, Bivalvia)


	The locality of Pharaonella amanyu sp. n. in the Amami Islands, Ryukyu Archipelago. The sand flat constituting the type locality of this new species is shown by an arrow.
